Kathi Lynn Austin is an internationally recognized expert on arms trafficking, peace and security, and human rights. She is the founder and Executive Director of the Conflict Awareness Project, a research fellow at the Human Rights Center at UC Berkeley, and a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy, the Global Initiative Against Transnational Crime, the Forum on the Arms Trade, and the Explorers Club.
